Snow Snow Everywhere

Northern Virginia is covered in a wintery mix.  What better way to celebrate winter than to go skiing.  Skiing in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley from Massanutten Peak at Massanutten is not only a skiing experience but a wonderful time for the whole family.  Massanutten is know for firsts in snowboarding, snow tubing and the first to have quad chairlifts and 14 lighted trails for night skiing.  Your family can enjoy skiing, snow boarding, golfing, swimming, hiking or just relaxing at this four-season resort.  Go for a day or stay and enjoy all of the amenities for the weekend.  Prices may vary so be sure to call Massanutten to verify dates and times.  Prices may vary.  If you are amongst the lucky to have no school, Massanutten offers for parents, teachers and students of those schools called due to inclement weather to spend the day or twilight skiing or snowboarding at reduced rates.  Notify Massanutten at 1-800-207-Mass.

There are several children’s programs and you can obtain the information regarding these programs on the Massanutten web site. Please make note that Massanutten represents Lids On Kids .  This is a site to educated parents about the benefits and limitations of helmets.  This site is provided by the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA).

Now is the time to take your family to the mountains and enjoy the beautiful snow.
