Today is going to be another record breaking day for for the weather.  High 60′s with sun, sun, sun.  Why not take a trip to the National Zoo?  The National Zoo opens at 7:00 AM.  Everyday something is happening at the zoo.  On Tuesdays you can go inside to the Elephant House and meet the Asian Elephants and watch them get a bath.   Next head over to Asia Trail and find out what and how Sloth Bears eat.  There is so much to do at the National Zoo.  Did I mention that entry into the Zoo is FREE!!!!!  The Zoo is a great place to discover and learn about unusual creatures from tiny leaf-cutter ants to huge elephants.  Walking along the paths and visiting animals is good for you too.  You can keep fit and enjoy the views of the tigers, lemurs, elephants, pandas, and other animals that spend most of their time outside.  So take time off for the beautiful day and enjoy the ZOO.  For more information go to www.nationalzoo.si.edu/ .
