Greenberg’s Train and Toy Show :

Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center  are hosting the Greenberg’s Train and Toy Show.  This show offers a variety of operating model railroad and toy layouts for the entire family.  If you are looking to get rid of an old toy train, this is the perfect place.  There will be a table with apprasers that will get you offers room multiple dealers.  There will be a riding train for the kids to enjoy.  Win hourly door prizes, free parking, kids get in FREE and much more.   Admission for adults is $7.00.  This is for both days.  Click here for directions.

Potomac Point Spring Barrel Tasting

Join Potomac Point’s winemaker and get a sneak peak of the season’s brand new wines - directly out of the French and American Oak barrels.  Cheese and Fruits will accompany them.  Call to reserve your time.  Saturday at 1:00 PM, 3:30 Pm, or 6:00 PM.  Admission is $18 per person.  Located at Potomac Point Winery 275 Decatur Road, Stafford.

National Capital Boat Show

Boats galore at the area’s largest Boat Show held in the Dulles Expo Center.  More than 40 dealers will fill both buildings with everything from jon boats to Motor Yachts.  Marinas, electronics, water sports and safety equipment will also be on display.  There will be experts there to discuss insurance, financing, repair, maintenance and boating safety.  Admission is $8 for adults, $2 kids (6-16) and kids 5 and under are FREE.

Quantico is located in Prince William County which is just 23 miles northeast of Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Other cities in its surrounding area are Dumfries, Stafford, Woodbridge and Lakeridge. Quantico is the site of one of the largest U.S. Marine Corps bases in the world, (MCB Quantico). The base is the site of the Marine Corps Combat Development Command and HMX-1 (the presidential helicopter squadron). Both the United States Drug Enforcement Administration’s training academy and the FBI Academy are on the base. Welcome to Quantico, VirginiaA replica of the USMC War Memorial stands in the entrance to the base. (The original is at the north end of Arlington National Cemetery.) It also has the Number one active CSI lab in the country, as it has the CSI training facilities and the FBI crime lab.
