The production of Grease will be appearing through July 27, 2008. This 1959 musical celebration of rock, doo wop amd rhythimic drum beats is reliving your favorite musical tunes that are still “hopelessly cool” even in 2008. The students of Rydell High face a new school year filled with rebellion and romance. The “T” birds, led by teenage heartthrob Danny uko, focus on hot cars whil the Pink Ladies experiment with cigarettes and peirced ears. Sandy “the new girl in town” is fresh from a brief summer romance with Danny, and is stunned when he ignores her because of her squeaky clean image. This is a story of teenage hang-ups, peer pressures and social issues are all brought into the limelight with a Grease musical flare.
