The annual Army 10-mile race will take place today in Washington DC. While the registration for the race sold out months ago, there is nothing like standing along the race path and cheering on all of those that are running their heart out and the runners appreciate the motivation!
Here are the best places to watch the race:
Lincoln Memorial – great view of the runners and a prime sightseeing location for after the race.
Kennedy Center – catch a view of runners at their 4 mile mark.
The National Indian Museum and National Air and Space Museum – give the runners a pep rally at the half way mark and then maybe grab lunch inside the National Indian Museum at their unique and fabulous food court.
Independence Avenue – catch the runners at the corner at 14th Street or 14th Street and C to motivate participants across the bridge.
Pentagon Finish Line – nothing is more exciting then watching the runners make it across the finish line, so of course this is the most popular location to spectate. Yell, scream, hoop and holler – they have made it!
Good luck to MilitaryByOwner’s own Adam Gran and all of the other runners!
