The 2011 Military Bowl will be played in DC again this year and you can score free tickets! This year’s bowl game will feature the Air Force Academy vs. the University of Toledo and will be played at RFK Stadium on December 28, 2011 at 4:30 p.m.
The Military Bowl is presented by Northrop Grumman and will benefit the USO. In turn, active duty military personnel will receive FREE admission to the game through USO distribution centers. The Mobile USO will be coming to MCB Quantico on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm and will be located in the MCX parking lot.
Active duty can receive up to 6 vouchers which will be redeemed on game day at the RFK Box Office. Vouchers are distributed on a first come, first served basis and by the looks of the other USO distribution centers, tickets are going fast, so be sure to get there early.
If you enjoy tailgating without having to do any of the prep work, then you may want to consider purchasing a ticket to the official Military Bowl Tailgate for $25.00. Enjoy all-you-can-eat burgers, hot dogs and BBQ, music and games from 1:oo pm -4:00 pm inside the DC Armory.
With over 500,000 military families in the National Capital Region, surely you know of a deserving family that you would like to nominate to be the recipients of the ultimate game day experience. A total of 7 military families will be selected to receive four tickets, parking, and the chance to go down onto the field during the trophy presentation to the winning team.
