On Friday June 1st from 11:00-1:00 you can meet the Author Mike Scotti. Mike Scotti is a former Marine Artillery forward observer who served in both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, he is also a founding board member of Reserve Aid. He will be at the MCX to sign his new book “The Blue Cascade: A Memoir of Life After War”. The book explores how he struggled with post-traumatic stress and how he fought his way back to healthy life. A signed copy of this book might make a great gift for the Marine in your life!!

Jun 2nd the MCX will be having  One Day Specials . Also on June 2nd at the McX you will be able to pick up some gifts for your garden! The Quantico Officers’ Wives’ Garden Club will holding their annual Plant Adoption from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The Garden Club will have a variety of plants to choose from and your financial donation will go to The Wounded Warrior Project and Blue Star Memorial Fund. Also, if you are moving and have some plants that need adopting bring them by and the The Garden Club will find them a new home!

Now on Sunday June 3rd you can continue your shopping at the “Super Sale” and you might also want to get some ice cream!! If you did not already know there is now an Ice Cream store next to the Marine Mart and Subway! Ice Cream is available Monday-Sunday 11:00-7:00.
