This could be a yummy weekend! Why? Because of the great things you can eat at the “Taste of Reston“.

This event is being presented by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce for the 22nd year. You will be able to visit booths exhibiting restaurants, community vendors, a family fun zone and four stages of live entertainment!

Here is a list of just a few of the great restaurants offering you a chance to taste, Big Bowl, Il Fornaio, La Sandia, Midtown Kabob, Pollo Peru and Vie de France for a complete list go to food. This is a great way to try food from a restaurant you have never tried before!!

The Taste of Reston will keep you dancing and singing while you are food tasting! Some of the groups that will be performing include The Fabulous Dialtones, The Fuzz an the School of Rock. The music will last until 10:30 both nights.

If you bring the ” kiddos” you will definitely want to check out the Family Fun Zone!  The Family Fun zone will be located at the corner of Market Street and Presidents Streets and will include interactive games, demonstrations, art and crafts and live entertainment. The YMCA Fairfax County Reston and the Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring the Fun Zone. Looks like lots of fun, I saw Zumba on the schedule!!

Another fun family event at The Taste is  The Carnival ! You  will be able to enjoy the rides  from 3:00pm-11:00pm on Friday and 12:00pm-11:00pm on Saturday. And this year you will also be able to visit the carnival on Sunday from 10:00am-8:00pm. I am sure both young and old a like will enjoy the carnival portion of The Taste of Reston!

This event is FREE but you must have tickets for the food and beverage tasting and also separate tickets for the carnival.

The Taste of Reston is taking place at Market Street in the Reston Town Center.     FREE parking is available at Reston Town Center.
