Tap into Harlem

Young audiences of Virginia presents Tap Into Harlem.  This dance program returns to the day when art was new.  Learn about the beginnings of tap in the a city that has given so much to America and the African American Community.  All ages are welcome at the Courthouse Community Center at 7PM  Friday Feb 8.   Join Tap Team Two as they return to the Harlem Renaissance to remind us who we are, where we’ve been and where we are going.

The acoustic-guitar-led group is a contemporary jazz group that is on the jazz charts.  They play a blend of music drawing on pop, jazz and classical elements.  Come to enjoy the music of longtime member Greg Carmichael and fellow guitarist Miles Gilderdale share a familiar sound of nylon and string weave a romantic melody.   Birchmere Music Hall - 3701 Mt.
